Being a proven winner may not be enough in Houston, Texas, the City of Opportunity.
True, there was a different mayor at the time they rolled out that silly campaign, but someone looking for the right opportunity in this city might be tempted to ask, "What the hell are we waiting for?"
How long would a talented, proven winner, like the one detailed in the past few posts on my blog, have to stay unemployed in a city before he was tempted to call this whole "City of Opportunity" thing BS?
I'm pretty sure that whole City of Opportunity thing was probably dreamed up by someone either running for political office or someone holding a political office. They're usually the folks that come up with that kind of corniness.
I think I'm probably in the wrong city.
